Hey, I’m Amy!

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where I learned from the women in my family that baking is how you take care of people and show love. My mom shared that love by teaching me to bake. And while my sweet tooth definitely appreciated it, the best part was always sharing what we made.

Baking has always been my first love. Even while working as a designer, I was always baking for friends, family, and coworkers. When I eventually hit burnout, I decided it was time to take the leap and start the business I’d always dreamed about.

By Amy is my way of bringing a little piece of home to Malta through big American-style cookies and other yummy homemade bakes.
